I know this is not a LW problem, but since installing the necessary Matrox codecs seems to cause other problems for me, I was just wondering if anyone was having a similar problem. I have looked through this forum, searched Matrox, and TMPGEnc without any mention of this problem (not too good for me!). I think the Matrox codecs may be interfering with at least one other video conversion program, too. I am running a PC with XP Pro, SP3, 4Gig Ram. If I uninstall the Matrox codecs and reboot the computer, TMPGEnc works fine. I ran into a problem the other night with TMPGEnc Authoring Works 4 (latest version).Įvery time I try to import a mov or avi file into TMPGEnc, I get an "unexpected error" which effectively crashes the program. I have installed Lightworks and it seems to be functioning correctly. I have installed QuickTime Pro and the Matrox VFW codecs as required for using Lightworks.
